Broken Key Loop
One of my MK5 keyfobs has broken off the small key loop at the top where it attaches to the keyfob. It's believed to be made of extremely soft metal or plastic. I've made a hole, then wet-sanded the surface to make it more durable. But I'm guessing that's not helping.
I've also tried wrapping the broken part of the ring with clear tape, but it does not seem to do any good. It's really too bad, since I use the tiny rings to keep my keys on the mini-split ring that holds the larger split ring for the keyfobs that I have.
